We process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our legitimate interest is to issue certificates of completion, maintain accurate records of course participants, and communicate with you regarding your learning activity on this platform.

4. Purpose of Processing

Your personal data is used exclusively for official communications from SIA Cyber Security related to:

  • Safe AI courses and certificates issued through this platform
  • AI audits and related professional development programmes
  • Important updates regarding information security work policies relevant to courses you have completed

We will never use your data for marketing unrelated to the above purposes, and we will never sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to third parties for their own use.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for 1 year from the date of collection. After this period your data is permanently deleted unless you have an active certificate or ongoing course enrolment, in which case retention continues until 1 year after your last activity.

6. Third Parties

We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties. We use Google Search Console to monitor how our website appears in Google search results. Google Search Console operates entirely on Google's infrastructure and does not place any cookies on your device and does not have access to your registration details.
